Less build as stronger community, and start protecting our children.
Tell them it is not acceptable for them to produce “entertainment” that
encourages rape, drugs, murder, suicide, and satanic themes. They say “It's
just entertainment and it has no adverse effect. No one takes it seriously anyway”,
that is crap! It is having a big effect on the youth of today and it need to be controlled.
The lives of our children are in your (the parents) hands.
If you want to admit it or not, it is all up to us. Stop blaming the Police, the Clergy, the Mayor, the system. John Baptist Moliere once said “It is not only for what we do that we are held responsible, but also for what we
do not do.” It is up to us to moniter what our children see
on TV or what music the listen to, and who they are friends with.
Flint has had 64 homicides, under the watch of Chief Alvern Lock

I met
with Chief Alvern Lock and I
was greeted and was told we (FOMCSG) would have their participation with contacting family's after
a homicide and with our annual youth day picnic and felt he was interested in Families of Murdered Children Support Group and it appeared he
was willing to do what he could to be of help to our organization. Boy was I wrong, Chief Alvern Lock just out and out lied
to me. He never wrote anything down to revue our conversation. So I e-mailed he to highlight what
we had talked about. I never heard from him nor did he do any of the things he had promised me he would do. I have work with Chief Gary Hagler,
Chief David Dicks and was never lied to. In fact they did everything they could to help, console and come to
our meeting with information often. In my opinion true leaders in the community. We need a Chief who is not
just there for a paycheck, but truly cares for the community. It is clear Alvern Lock is not that man. We have no chose but
to get rid of him. Out of the 64 homicides we have had this year only 33 have been solved, and that is only
this year. Just think of the hundreds of victims case's that have gone unsolved. It's time to act less get
him out.
